eCore, short for electronic core curriculum, is a statewide collaborative program which enables students to earn core credits online while remaining enrolled at CSU. eCore utilizes GoVIEW to access courses. eCore courses are taught entirely online. However, some courses may require one or more proctored exams at a testing center, which may require an additional fee. eCore courses are designed, developed, taught and supported by faculty and staff from the USG. The eCore curriculum primarily consists of courses required during the first two years of college for a given degree. Not all core curriculum classes are available via eCore. See the list of course descriptions for a complete list of courses offered through eCore.
Columbus State University has partnered with eCore to enhance and expand its online core curriculum offerings. Any admitted CSU student has the opportunity to register for these courses, but before registering there are a few things you must do first by following the steps on the registration page.
Tuition and Fees

The tuition rate is the same for both Georgia resident and non-resident students. Additional fees might include textbooks, course materials, and exam proctoring charges. eCore only students are charged the institutional and technology fee.
